Lots of adventure activities like white water rafting, zip lining, kayaking, hiking, etc. I've done their Beach break/Yolo budget tour to Costa Rica and really enjoyed it. Consider both companies and decide which will accommodate your destination and budget more suitably. I don’t think you’ll be dissatisfied with either. With EF, I always traveled with fellow Americans, while Contiki I traveled with Canadians, Americans and Australians. In other words, Contiki appears to provide the customer with more flexibility in choosing their destination and accommodation quality, while EF offers a handful of thoughtful trips with limited ability to scale your ‘luxuries’. My Contiki trip felt like a slightly more budget experience, however they offer significantly more trip options and likely you could pay a bit more for a more premium experience. I think EF offers less trip options overall than Contiki, but they were fairly decent quality (in terms of accommodations and experience). I traveled with EF College Break 3 times and Contiki once when I was 24 - 27.īoth companies provided a good service, and I would be okay recommending either.
